What Is ThermaCote®?

ThermaCote® is a proprietary, ceramic‐infused insulating coating that transforms any conventional wall into a highly efficient thermal barrier. Unlike traditional insulation batts or foam boards, ThermaCote®:

• Applies like paint: just 1 mm of coating covers an entire wall.
• Reflects up to 80 % of radiant heat back toward its source.
• Reduces conductive and convective heat transfer, keeping rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

How ThermaCote® Arrives

• 1 Product for Internal and External Application

ThermaCote® is a single-component, ceramic-based insulation coating supplied ready-to-use in a sealed 19 litre bucket for both internal and external applications. Just break the seal and mix thoroughly with a Plaster or Paddle mixer whilst adding 500ml of water to the bucket until it reaches the correct milky consistency. Once the seal is broken, all the product in the must be used within 24 hours and cannot be stored or saved.

  • One 19 litre bucket of ThermaCote® covers approximately 25 m² at 0.5mm or 12.5m² at 1 mm thickness (project and substrate dependent).
