How You Get It

How You Get It
An approved ThermaCote® Installation Team At Work

Step 1: Product Selection & Quotation

  1. Measure Your Wall Area
    • Calculate total square metres for each elevation (height × width).
    • Note substrate type (brick, block, stone, timber frame, plasterboard).
  2. Request a Free Quote
    • Visit our online form at thermacoteuk.com/get-quote (or call 07843959254).
    • Provide:
      • Total m² per wall (e.g., Front Elevation: 50 m², Rear Elevation: 45 m²).
      • Type of finish desired (Base Coat only, Base + Top Coat in white, or tinted).
      • Special circumstances (e.g., severe moss/lichen growth, heritage façade).
      • Please include any photos or a short video of the area/s you would like coated.
  3. Receive Detailed Proposal
    • Your proposal outlines:
      • Exact bucket counts (Base vs. Top Coat).
      • Coverage map per elevation.
      • Labour estimate (from our approved installers).
      • Lead time (typically 5–7 working days from order).

Step 2: Ordering & Payment

  1. Place Your Order Online or by Phone
    • 30 % deposit to secure material stock.
    • Balance due on dispatch.
  2. Scheduling Delivery
    • Standard pallet delivery to curbside.
    • We recommend ordering 10 % extra coating to account for wastage or texture variance.
  3. Installer Recommendation
    • We will assign your job to a member of our approved installer network who will contact you with dates they are avalible to complete the installation.
    • Installer fees are billed directly by the contractor—ThermaCote UK does not markup labour.

Step 3: Site Preparation & Installation

  1. Pre‐Installation Walkthrough
    • Our technical team can phone or complete a video visit to confirm substrate condition and masking requirements.
    • If walls need repointing, render repairs, or moisture treatment, these must be completed first.
  2. Onsite Delivery & Staging
    • Material arrives in sealed buckets.
    • Store between 5 °C–30 °C; avoid freezing temperatures.
  3. Installation Day
    • Our in house installers/approved installers will come and cover your belongings and surfaces.
    • Approved installers use our recommended spray tips and airless spray systems to ensure proper atomisation.
  4. Post‐Application Inspection
    • Once application is complete, the applicator will measure film thickness at several points with a wet film gauge.
    • If any sections fall below 500 µm, a touch-up pass is recommended (provided at no extra cost if report submitted within 48 hours).
